Striae painting is a technique that gives your walls, or woodwork a striped appearance. You achieve this look by dragging a dry brush through a glaze mixture that was applied over a base color. YVStudio finished work on a lobby at Park Avenue South. The gorgeous moldings were in need of color; silver leaf was applied to sections of the cornice.

Macy’s Holiday Window 2016
YVStudio was hired by A Standard Transmission, a scenic shop in Red Hook, which creates all of Macy’s special window displays, to apply gold leaf to a massive reindeer head and antlers.
