Not shiny and reflective, tadelakt has a silky finish. Its appeal stems from its organic, earthy feel and old-world warmth. It is also eco-friendly. At Manhattan’s exquisite Art Deco (former) General Electric building I finished gilding the new offices of financial firm Crown Sterling. Commissioned by interior designer Alexis Manfer, I gilded 500 feet of crown molding and 5 sets of elevator doors.
